About More Than Grades
Being a teenager is challenging! Pressures at school, figuring out who you are and where you are going! All of this on top of living in the crazy, uncertain world of 2026. It can be confusing and stressful!
That is why I started More Than Grades, a tutoring and mentoring business dedicated to empowering teenagers aged 14 and older to smash their academic and personal goals.
Personalised 1:1 tutoring in Business Studies and English, along with coaching and mentoring for interviews and overcoming barriers can really make the difference in building confidence, developing essential skills, and providing the support that the student needs when they need it!
Hi everyone, I am Ash! For over 20 years, I have been supporting teenagers with their studies and preparing for the next steps in their journeys.
I know that every person has their unique gifts and learns in their own way. That is why I tailor the support to the needs of each student creating a supportive learning environment that fosters growth and prepares teenagers for their next steps.
By offering personalised guidance and a nurturing environment, I aim to instill confidence so that the students can smash their goals and achieve things they might not even believe is possible right now!
Why Fit In A Box When You Can Dance On One!
We all learn differently and one of the biggest problems we have in society is that we try to fit people into boxes instead of letting them grow wings. Over the years, I have worked with so many talented teenagers that have been let down by the educational system, leaving them feeling lost, lacking in confidence and dismissive of their strengths. This is especially true of students with learning and emotional challenges.
The good news is that there are always solutions and I have had the pleasure of working with some truly amazing and inspiring young people over the years. My role is to get to know the students, figure out what makes them tick and then help them tap into their gifts. Along the way, I have seen fear and doubt transform into confidence, and the results that have followed have blown their minds. For example, one amazing young lady, with ASD, I worked with, learned to tap into the unique way they saw the world and in the process turned a U into an A* in Business Studies.
